International audienceEach language is developed by a specific species. Languages are functional. And so is the spoken articulated human language. They appear to be used as tools for the survival of each individual among the different species. There are probably many reasons to the origins of the Human spoken language. Assuming it is the result of a long and slow global evolution seems right. The great apes who came just before did not speak, but used other languages. The Human race developed spoken language against and over other diverse possible languages.
