International audienceSince its early conceptualization, many scales assessing the locus of control in specific areas appeared. This aim of those studies was to adapt the Multidimensional health locus of control scale to the context of performance in individual sport settings. To the three factors of the original MHLCS scale (Internal (I), Significant other (P) and Chance (C)), we added a fourth one to take into account the specificities of sport settings.
