Part 7: e-Health, the New Frontier of Service Science InnovationInternational audienceThe primary aim of this study is to develop a Smart Assistive Living (SAL) platform to enable old people suffering from dementia to stay at home as long as possible. The technology used includes wireless sensor network and broadband network connectivity. The assistive technology aggregates sensor information about environmental, cognitive, physical and physiological factors and integrate them to support the delivery of telehealth and telecare services to older people with mild dementia. The plan for the testing and implementation of the technology and commercial roll out is also briefly outlined
