Reviews the book, Individual Differences in Cognition, Vol.2 edited by Ronna F. Dillon (1985). Editor states that the purpose of this volume is to extend and complement Volume 1 by adding to our understanding of individual differences underlying performance in several domains. The chapters in this volume all could be said to take a group-based approach to individual differences as a starting point for discussion. For students of individual differences, this volume is necessary reading. For students of cognition, it should also be required. Volumes such as this provide important resources for broadening our knowledge of differences between individuals
