Motor vehicle crashes (MVC\u27s) are the leading cause of death and serious injury among children 14 years and younger (Murphy, 1998; Zaza et al., 2001). The purpose of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of a parent focused intervention on parents knowledge of correct car seat use for children 0 months of age to 10 years of age. A pre-test post-test quasi-experimental design was used to test the effectiveness of a parent focused intervention. The parent focused intervention included a multi-media education program using a variety of learning strategies.
