A retrospective study was conducted at AMANA MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL in Ilala district Dar es salaam from 2004-2006. The aim of the study was to assess the prevalence and management of hehminthiases among under fives HIV/ AIDS patient. Data was collected through past medical history which included demographic characteristics such as age, sex, weight, diagnosis if was carried out as well as HIV status. Results of the study revealed that Out of 364 scrutinized underfives, 171 (47%) were found to be infected. The most prevalent helminthic infection was attributable to Trichuris trichuria (23.6%), seconded by Ascaris lumbricoides (12.6%).
