Use of bioactive plants in controlling anthracnose in beans

The use of bioactive plants has been the subject of study in the field of agroecology, both for its potential to induce antifungal resistance in the control of plant pathogens. In the search for plants that possess these characteristics, there is the action of dyes with and without grain alcohol C. sylvestris, Tagetes minuta and Schinus terebinthifolius in Carioca bean seedlings on the fungus Colletotrichum lindemuthianum causing anthracnose. The experiment was conducted in greenhouses BOD incubators, and tested the curative effect and protec tor of dyes in concentrations 0,5 %, 1,0% and 2,0% by assessing the intensity of the disease. We also evaluated length of air, root length and dry weight of seedlings. The results revealed that alcohol tinctures of plants studied were effective in controlling fungus C. lindemuthianum, and the curative effect that occurred in all concentrations an d shield the concentration to 2,0%, but grain alcohol demonstrated in control 1,0%. The dyes without alcohol showed no curative and protective effect to anthracnose and did not affect seedling growth, this effect being observed for dyes with alcohol and grain alcohol.Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico - CNPqO uso de plantas bioativas vem sendo objeto de estudo no campo da agroecologia, tanto por seus potenciais antifúngicos como indutores de resistência , no controle de fitopatógenos. Na busca por plantas que possuam essas características, verificou-se a ação das tinturas com e sem álcool de cereais de Casearia sylvestris, Schinus terebinthifolius e Tagetes minuta, em plântulas de feijão Carioca, sobre o fungo Colletotrichum lindemuthianum, causador da antracnose. O experimento foi realizado em estufas incubadoras tipo BOD, sendo testado o efeito curativo e protetor das tinturas nas concentrações 0,5%, 1,0% e 2,0% através da avaliação da intensidade da doença. Avaliou-se também comprimento de parte aérea, comprimento de raiz e massa seca das plântulas. Os resultados revelaram que as tinturas com álcool das plantas estudadas foram eficientes no controle do fungo C. lindemuthianum, sendo que no efeito curativo esse fato ocorreu em todas as concentrações e no protetor na concentração a 2,0%, porém o álcool de cereais demostrou controle a 1,0%. As tinturas sem álcoolnão apresentaram efeito curativo e protetorà antracnose e também não influenciaram no crescimento das plântulas, sendo este efeito observado pelas tinturas com álcool e o álcool de cereais
