Historic Longwood / E. W. Henck marker (Reverse), Longwood, Fl. (Continued from other side) The town of Longwood had grown, it had hotels, churches, stores & weekly newspaper. The Florida land boom saw the revival of Longwood, with paved streets, municipal water system, a dog track, horse track, & golf course. The area developed by Henck became the Longwood\u27s Historic District and was listed in the National Register of Historic Places .
