Includes bibliographical references.This binder contains a wealth of information for non-for-profit organizations on what fundraising techniques are used and what works. The purpose of this project was to provide an overview of what non-for-profits use to gain funding. This was accomplished through reviewing and summarizing current published academic and trade literature on the matter as well as using first hand interviews ofthose in the DeKalb/Sycamore Community. The emphasis is on two major findings: the first being that relationships are what drive funding and the second that to better understand what works industry specific research needs to be done.
