This paper examines a modem Swedish school, Fu1lriggaren Malevik. The school is located on the west coast of Sweden, a few miles south of Gothenburg. This paper explores the history of the school, from its start in 1992 to the present. This paper is divided into several parts based on different functional areas. This paper gives examples of how the Swedish school system works, compared to the new way of teaching at Fu1lriggaren Malevik. Fullriggaren Malevik uses new kinds of teaching methodologies, which are integrated into the different classes.
