A non-equivalent, control group, pre-test, post-test design was employed within the framework of Lazarus7 stress and coping paradigm. Anxiety was evaluated using the Child Anxiety Scale, achievement was measured by the National Metropolitan Achievement Test and the relaxation training utilized was the Kiddie Quieting Response.
