This paper aims to fill in the holes in research already conducted by collecting information regarding consumers behavior in consuming news as well as compiling information on how news organization are approaching their web presence. A survey conducted via SurveyMonkey.com polling 73 subjects on how they consume news. Phone interviews were also conducted with five news professionals working in the online news industry. Data suggests that online is continuing to grow as the primary method of news consumption. This data is aligned with previously done surveys.
