Research on the relationship between sense of coherence according to Aaron Antonovsky’ theory of the sense of coherence and process of professional burning out is situated in the field of personal resources engaged in coping with organizational stress in helping proffessions. Two methods were used: The Maslach Burnout Inventory for educators and The scale of Sense of Coherence (SOC) by Antonovsky. MBI allows to measure three components of burn-out syndrome: emotional exhaustion, depersonalisation and the lack of personal accomplishment.
