The aim of this study is to determine the effect of FDI on the Polish labor market. The research shows that inflow of foreign capital increased in each year except in 2007. This may be due to the growing attractiveness of the Polish economy, lower labor costs, increasing interest with our country among investors and the process of internationalization of economies. Entities with the participation of foreign capital operating in Poland created many new jobs, that contributed to the improvement of the situation in the labour market. Foreign capital should be regarded as an opportunity for the Polish economy.
