The study is about the gift-exchange of gift money and condolence money called "zuirei" in China. I will discuss on reciprocal factors which exert influence on people's reciprocal activity and the consciousness of practicing zuirei, the features and the impact on household of the balance of gift money in zuirei relationship in a farming village in China. In conclusion, I will point out that the balance of gift money constrains the production and consumption of household, and that it has also an influence on the decision making of important family issues. Also I will argue that concentrative back-flow of gift money has a function of improving situation of the household money management
