Toshima-mura is located between Yakushima Island and Amami-oshima Island. And it is called the Tokara Islands and consists of Kuchino-shima, Nakano-shima, Taira-shima, Suwanose-shima, Akuseki-shima, Kodakara-shima and Takara-shima. In toshima-mura the system of Health , medical care and welfare are very insufficient.Therefore a meeting for a study was begun for a solution to the problem in May, 2007.This meeting for the study lasted one year and and made a report. The purpose of this article is based on the report of the meeting for the study and examines domiciling idea of Toshima-mura inhabitants and the need of social service. Particularly, I focus on the difference between elderly person and the youth about their ideas
