The experimental studies of the motion of long bubbles for two-phase, air-water slug flows have led to a better understanding of the influence of the inclination angle on bubble behavior in a rectangular channel. Correlations have been developed for predicting void fractions in an inclined channel. Subsequently, a comparison between the simplified model predictions and the experimental measurements shows a positive agreement in the frictional pressure drop
