XV Kääntämisentutkimuksen päivät Oulussa 12.12.2006

Abstract This publication consists of the six papers presented at the XV Conference of Translation Studies (XV Kääntämisentutkimuksen päivät), hosted by the Nordic Philology unit of the Department of German, French and Scandinavian Languages, University of Oulu. The contributors came from the Department of Modern Finnish and Translation (University of Vaasa) and the Department of German, French and Scandinavian Languages (University of Oulu). Most focus on theoretical and practical problems in translating. The conference plenary paper, which deals with translation and interpretation from a semiotic point of view, was presented by a lecturer of the Department of Scandinavian Languages and Literature (University of Helsinki, University of Oulu)
