Abstract The development of new work practices requires the combination of several organizations. The interaction and knowledge formation of the participants are the essential factors. The aim of this study was to reveal their potential for forming new work practices to day-care centre work in the practice of Social Services (UAS) studies. The research focused on co-operative learning of the network of persons representing universities (academic and applied sciences) and day-care centres.
