FLINT TOOLS AS EVIDENCE ABOUT DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE DURING THE PALAEOLITHIC

The results obtained indicate diversity of flint properties and composition and as a result more attention is paid to the methodological issues of the study. The research results suggest that the increase and accumulation of the skills and geological knowledge in the Palaeolithic are reflected in all stages of producement of flint tools and include search for suitable raw material and its recognition in nature, quality assessment and development of stone processing technology by giving certain shapes for diverse functions.
