Literatūras apskatā aplūkota pārējas metālu (vara, palādija) katalizētā arilhalogenīdu amidēšanas reakcija – analizēti faktori, kuri ietekmē reakcijas gaitu, salīdzināta dažādu katalizatoru un ligandu efektivitāte amīdu saites veidošanā. Darba eksperimentālajā daļā veikta reakcijas apstākļu optimizācija vara katalizētajai amidēšanas reakcijai, kā substrātus izmantojot jodindola un bromindola atvasinājumus. Optimālie reakcijas apstākļi izmantoti indolilhalīdu reakcijās ar dažādiem strukturāli atšķirīgiem alkil- un arilamīdiem.
