Chemical and Plasma Synthesis of ZrO2-Al2O3-Y2O3 Nanoparticles

Darbā attīstīta ZrO2-Al2O3-Y2O3 sistēmas nanoizmēru kompozītu sintēzi ar degšanas metodi, noteikti to raksturlielumi un salīdzināti ar termiskā plazmā sintezēto pulveru parametriem. Noteikta sintezēto nanodaļiņu īpatnējās virsmas, vidējo daļiņu izmēri, kristalītu izmēri un fāzu sastāva atkarība no izmantotām izejvielām, komponenšu attiecības un termiskās apstrādes temperatūras. Parādīts, ka degšanas metode, salīdzinot ar plazmoķīmisko sintēzi, ir vienkāršāka un ekonomiskāka, tā nodrošina sīkākus kristalīta izmērus un augstāku cirkonija augsttemperatūras fāzu stabilizāciju.In the present work synthesis of nanosized composite in system ZrO2-Al2O3-Y2O3 has been performed by combustion method. The characteristics of the composite are determined and compared with that of plasma produced composite. Specific surface area, average mean size of particles, crystallite size and phase composition of the composite depend on employed raw materials, rates of components and temperature of thermal treatment. It is proved that combustion method is more common and more economic. It provides smaller crystallite size and higher stabilization degree of high temperature phase of zirconia
