Darba mērķis: noskaidrot, vai makulas pigmenta optiskais blīvums mainās atkarībā no dažādiem faktoriem: vecuma, dzimuma, smēķēšanas, ķermeņa masas indeksa, vitamīnu lietošanas Pētījuma dalībnieki: 54 dalībnieki, vecumā no 21-83 gadiem Metode: ar MPSII iekārtu tika nomērīts makulas pigmenta optiskais blīvums, kas balstās uz heterohromatiskā flikera fotometrijas metodes. Tika veikta statistiskā analīze. Rezultāti: makulas pigmenta optiskais blīvums (MPob) testētajiem Madonas novada iedzīvotājiem bija 0,26 d.u. Pastāv vāja korelācija starp vecumu un MPob. T tests uzrāda atšķirību starp dzimumiem vecuma grupā no 50-59 gadiem. MPob samazinājums pētījuma dalībniekiem nav atkarīgs no ķermeņa masas indeksa. Statistiski pierādīts, ka smēķēšana MPob ...
