Maģistra darbs ir veltīts lineāri racionālās programmēšanas uzdevumiem. Tiek apskatīti uzdevumi ar vienu un ar vairākām mērķa funkcijām, tai skaitā, kad tās ir sadalītas hierarhiskā struktūrā. Darbs satur uzdevumu risināšanas algoritmus, kas balstīti uz optimizācijas līmeņa funkcijām. Vairāku mērķu gadījumā lineāri racionālās mērķu funkcijas ir linearizētas, izmantojot Teilora polinomu. Divu līmeņu gadījumā apakšējā līmeņa optimizācijas problēmas tika aizvietotas ar atbilstošajiem Kūna–Takera nosacījumiem.
