Tradicional Chinese medicine and its modern significance

Šī darba tēma bija tradicionālā Ķīnas medicīna un tās nozīme mūsdienu sabiedrībā. Šī darba galvenais uzdevums ir noskaidrot, kādi ārstniecības veidi ietilpst šajā plašajā sistēmā, jo bieži vien sabiedrībā pastāv uzskats, ka tradicionālā Ķīnas medicīna ir tas pats, kas akupunktūra, kas ne gluži atbilst patiesībai. Patiesībā akupunktūra ir tikai viena neliela daļa no šīs sarežģītā sistēmas. Šajā darbā ir apskatītas gan akupunktūrai radnieciskas ārstēšanas metodes, gan masāžas veidi, gan fiziskās nodarbības, kuras arī veic, lai uzlabotu cilvēka veselības stāvokli. Otrs šī darba uzdevums bija noskaidrot kāda šiem, mums tik netradicionālajiem, medicīnas veidiem ir nozīme mūsdienu sabiedrībā, tai skaitā arī Latvijā. Gūtos rezultātus apkopojot, izdarīju secinājumu, ka tradicionālās Ķīnas medicīnas nozīme sabiedrībā ir strauji augusi pēdējo 2 – 3 gs laikā. Mūsdienās to bieži izmanto, kā komplementāro medicīnas veidu cīņā ar dažādām saslimstībām.The theme of this paper work was the Traditional Chinese medicine and its importance in our time. The main task of it, is to find out what kind of treatment are included in this huge system of medicine. A lot of people nowadays think that Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine are equal meanings, but it not quite the truth. Acupuncture no doubt is one of the main methods of Traditional medicine in China, but there are more methods then that. In this paper work I also paid attention to analogical methods of Acupuncture, massage methods and physical exercises that are used to maintain health. The second main theme of this paper work was to find out what place in nowadays society does Traditional Chinese Medicine take in. Summarizing the results of my research I came to a conclusion that the popularity of Traditional Chinese Medicine has grown in the last 2 – 3 centauries. In nowadays it is often used as a complementary healing method
