AIPO-11 molecular sieve with AEL structure was ionothermally synthesized using ionic liquid solvent as medium. The effects of ionic liquid amount, synthesis time and temperature were investigated. The structure and characteristics of molecular sieve samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermo gravimetric analysis(TGA). The results indicate that AIPO-11 molecular sieve could be synthesized by 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([Emim]Br) ionic liquid as both the solvent and template
