The heat capacity of fenpropathrin of high purity (99. 16%) was measured by using an automatic adiabatic calorimeter in the temperature range between XO and 400K. A solid - liquid phase transition was found for the compound in this temperature range. The temperature, the molar enthalpy and entropy of the fusion transition were determined to be (322.476 +/- 0.012)K, (18.57 +/- 0.29)kJ.mol(-1) and (57.59 +/- 1.01) J.K(-1)mol(-1), respectively.
