Three-way catalysts with low precious metal loading but effective eliminating function are highly expected. The precious metals could be remarkably reduced by using perovskites, LaFe0.57Co0.38Pd0.05O3 and CaTi0.98Pt0.02O3, in which precious metal could incorporate into the B-site of the perovskite lattice with a self-regenerative function. However, the organic precursors have to employ for synthesis such kind of materials. Here we prepare LaFe1-xPdxO3 perovskites with a sol-gel method by using routine metal salts.
