The present descriptive community-based study aims at assessing the role of community participation in malaria control. To assessed the community awareness about malaria control, the preferences of the community towards community participation activities & to identify factors that affect the community participation. The sample size was (625) in habitant, specified according to specific formula & distributed over (9) blocks was chosen randomly. A questionnaire was designed & pre- tested to meet the objectives of study. A training session was carried out to some health personnel at Omdurman locality.
