solation and Identification of Bacteria Associated 11 10%1 Milk Produced and Distributed at Hillat Kuku

To get the full text please contact the other at Ibtisammohamed@hotmail.comMilk samples were collected randomly from I lillat Kuku, Khartoum North, which is considered to he the largest milk producing and marketing area in Khartoum State, to estimate the bacterial content of milk. One hundred and thirty samples were collected from three sites (farms, milk collection points and factory). Bacteriological examinations revealed the presence of 265 isolates, of which 183 isolates (69%) were Gram positive bacteria, while 82 isolates (31%) were indentilied as Gram negative bacteria. Further identification of the the Gram positive bacteria revealed the presence of Siaphylococcus aureus (3.83%). Streptococcus viridans (8..74%), Corynebacterium bovis (2.73%), Lactobacillus acidophillus (10.38%), Bacillus licheniformis (12.02%), Microeoccus .spp. (24.04%), Staphylococcus epidermidis (15.85%), Gement, • y,p, (11.48%) and Aerococcus viridans (10.93%). On the other hand, the Gram negative bacteria were E. coli (4.88%), Haemophilia alihrophilus (17.04%), Shigella spp. (6.10%), Salmonella spp.. (1.23%), Brauhamella catarrhalis (19.51%), Aftinobacter spp. (I 3.41%). Flavoliaderium meningosepticum (10.98%), Enterobacier spp. (7.32%). ( nno-bacterium spp. (7.32%), Cardiobacterium spp. (6.
