منهج الإسلام في معالجة النشوز بين الزوجين

This research discusses the issue of gradation in treating recalcitrance in Islam (the problem of either the wife or husband recalcitrating against the other). I have divided the topic into three sections : In the first section, I discussed recalcitrance by the wife, and the provisions of Islamic Sharia’ah for treating that phenomenon gradually. There are graded procedures which treat this recalcitrance step by step. These steps start with preaching, followed by desertion in bed and mild lashing. In this respect, I had to interpret the Quranic verse which indicated that.
