<p> This paper firstly introduces the principles of SPWM (space vector pulse width modulation) and SVPWM (sinusoidal pulse width modulation), and then builds PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) control system simulation models based on SPWM and SVPWM in MATLAB/Simulink environment. Finally, by comparing the simulation results of the two models, we got the advantages and disadvantages of SPWM and SVPWM. © 2016 IEEE.</p
