The aim of this study is for the children to record the temperature of the classroom and aquarium water over a set period of time. The children will compare their findings and evaluate if the classroom temperature influences the aquarium’s water temperature. Students will become familiar with using thermometers and will explore and develop concepts using skills relating to: Questioning and observing the properties and characteristics of materials such as fresh water and salt water; Estimating and Measuring; Analysing; Recording, Communicating & Expressing; Applying and problem solving; Reasoning; Understanding and Recallin
