Abstract: The phenomenon of a material point collision with a rough surface is investigated. The character of the impact as a function of the angle of the point fall and the friction coefficient and the reconstruction coefficient is obtained. In the frame of Newton model, the impact is investigated as a process. The relationships of different parameters (tangential and normal components of the point velocity and the impulses of the surface reactions) during the impact are obtained.
