Abstract: The paper is aimed at the development and construction of numerical algorithms for electromagnetic launch process simulation. The object under consideration is the electromagnetic accelerator of railgun type for conducting armatures launch. The statement of proper mathematical problem enables us to study the process by modeling the electromagnetic fields in spacely restricted region. We solve two additional 2-D problems for determining the fields on the lateral sides of the region.
