Abstract: Properties of mechanical systems controlled by application of servo-constraints both holonomous and nonholonomous, dependent nonlinear on velocities are investigated. The notion of ideal servo-constraints is introduced. For mentioned above systems peculiarities of using of local variation principles of mechanics and motion equations following from these principles are pointed.
