Venture Philanthropy: Landscape and Expectations

This report is the first one in a series produced by Venture Philanthropy Partners (VPP) and Community Wealth Ventures. It surveys venture philanthropy efforts around the United States to determine how the best practices of venture capital can be applied to funding nonprofit organisations. This report outlines the state of the venture philanthropy field in 1999 and 2000 and focuses on the key opportunities and challenges for the field.
