While the outlook for grantmaking in Minnesota for the remainder of 2009 is not strong - 52% now expect declines in grantmaking during 2009 - grantmakers in Minnesota appear to be faring better than the nation as a whole. Most Minnesota grantmakers say the areas they are most likely to support, in relation to the downturn, are food, housing, and jobs.
