The tourism and hospitality industry is critical to New Jersey. It not only employs large numbers of workers, but attracts millions of tourists and visitors each year. For example, hotels, restaurants and bars, and amusement and recreation services employ more than 300,000 people in the state. However, New Jersey employers are facing difficulties attracting and maintaining the skilled workforce they need.
