Numerous low (<90 C) to moderate (90 C-150 C) geothermal resources occur in many areas of the United States. The reservoir research conducted at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL) is designed to develop innovative techniques that can be used to evaluate reservoir characteristics and improve reservoir management for low-to-moderate temperature resources. The purpose of this report is to review the program accomplishments for FY 1982 and present the initial data and results obtained from the ongoing research program.
