A new measurement of the W mass

The CDF collaboration has measured the mass of the W boson using 5718 W {yields} e{nu} and 3268 W {yields} {mu}{nu} events collected in {approximately} 20 pb{sup {minus}1} in Run Ia at the Fermilab Tevatron. The measurement yields M{sub W} = 80.41 {+-} 0.18 GeV/c{sup 2}
