This document serves as a DOE post-project assessment of a project in Round 2 of the Department of Energy's Clean Coal Technology (CCT) Program: ``Advanced Tangentially Fired Combustion Techniques for the Reduction of Nitrogen Oxides (NO{sub x}) Emissions From Coal-Fired Boilers Demonstration Project''. In September 1990, Southern Company Services entered into an agreement to conduct the study, with Gulf Power Company providing the 180 megawatt electric (MWe) host site and ABB C-E Services Inc. providing the technology to be demonstrated.
