The objectives of this program are the design and development of knowledge based systems for increasing safety and security in nuclear facilities, to implement a graphic interface in G2, and to assess the performance of the system using validation data. Integration of the systems with sensors and sensor fusion systems is also a goal of this project. This project was designed as a team effort among LANL, FSU, and contractors within Allied Signal, and the collaboration has been a successful venture. Each part of the team has brought very valuable contributions to the project during the year, and the cooperation level among the sub-teams has been phenomenal.
