"From the time when tobacco was first cultivated in the dark-tobacco regions of Tennessee and Kentucky it has been necessary to combat the hornworms in order to produce profitable crops. This bulletin deals with the use of powdered arsenate of lead, which has been found to be preferable to Paris green in many respects. Full directions for its use under varying conditions are given." -- p.
