巨大なる轉移を起した睾丸肉腫の1例

This is a case report of a 56 year old male who suffered from a swelling of the right testicle for four years. The case was further complicated with supraclavicular lymphnodules and a tumor of the abdomen. Diagnosed as seminoma an operation was conducted to remove the testicles. As a result of laboratory tests it was revealed that the tumor in the abdominal cavity was an extensive metastasis of retroperitoneal lymphnodules at the root of the mesenterium. As a post-operation treatment nitrogen mustard was administered with no results. The patient died one and a half months after the operation. As a result of autoptic and histological findings, a primary focus was located on the right testicle with extensive metastasis in the left testicle, heart, retroperitoneal lymphnodules and Virchow's lymphnodules. The tumor consisted mainly of polymorphic large-round-cells. Judging from the condition of interstitial tissue and silver-pholic fiber, the said tumor was evidently reticulo-sarcoma
