The goal of this research was to identify the members of the Order of Montesa in the seventeenth century, based on the situation of the religious and military order at the time when it was united with the Crown in 1592 and its subsequent evolution throughout the whole of the following century. The result was the identification through individualized records of the 431 knights, 205 monks and 25 bearded friars of the Order of Montesa in the seventeenth century.Catàleg de cavallers i religiosos de l’Orde de Montesa (1592-1701
