L'objectif a été d'évaluer prospectivement les performances diagnostiques de l'échographie et de l'IRM salivaire pour le diagnostic de syndrome de Gougerot-Sjögren (SGS) chez des sujets avec syndrome sec salivaire et/ou oculaire adressés en médecine interne. Le diagnostic de SGS est complexe faisant appel à plusieurs critères. Les examens d'imagerie des glandes salivaires (échographie et IRM) semblent prometteurs pour l'évaluation de la xérostomie avec l'avantage d'être non invasifs et de réalisation plus simple que la classique sialographie. Le diagnostic de SGS a été établi selon les critères Américano-Européens consensuels de 2002.
