Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder (NDD) characterized by impairments in social interaction and reciprocal communication, as well as by patterns of repetitive and stereotyped behaviours. Educational interventions, language and behavioral therapies may significantly improve the patient’s prognosis, especially when initiated at a young age.
