[[abstract]]Ad Hoc 無線網路透過媒介存取控制層(MAC Layer)中的分散式協調機制(DCF)可使網路上的工作站能有效運作。然而DCF機制將無法提供服務品質保證(QoS)。為此提供了無狀態Ad Hoc 無線網路(SWAN)去支援差異型的服務,使之能達到服務品質保證。 在本論文中研究分散式協調機制(DCF)和無狀態Ad Hoc 無線網路(SWAN),透過模擬比較目前的DCF機制與以提出的SWAN機制,可以發現即使在較高負載的網路環境下,SWAN可以有效地減少delay和增加throughput。而模擬中也發現到競爭視窗(contention window)對於網路效能影響甚大。[[abstract]]In Ad Hoc wireless network each station can work well by using Distributed Coordination Function(DCF) mechanism in Medium Access Control(MAC)layer, but the DCF can not support quality-of-service (QoS) .
