1. 臺灣現在栽培的柚類共有三十餘個品種，只依果實的形狀與特徵不易區分品種的不同，但利用柚類花器特徵的異點，可以收到檢定柚類品種的效果。 2. 柚類各品種間花器特徵區別甚大，最顯著的不同為色素與微毛。 3. 依據柚類花器特徵的不同擬訂柚類品種檢索表一種。 (1) There are thirty one varieties of pummelo in Taiwan. Some of them are hardly distinguished only according to the fruit form and flesh color, but we may distinguish them by the aid of using the flower characteristics of pummelo. (2) The main flower characteristics are pigment and hairs, such as the color of sepal tip, the color of suture of flower bud, and hairs on ovary, style and peduncle. (3) A key to pummelo varieties is obtained according to the flower characteristics only
